The Arabuleila Institute in Cúllar Vega needs to be enlarged, for which a small two-storey multiple-use block is proposed that functions as a nexus, connecting the two buildings with a double-height hall that respects and adds value to the existing building, while reordering the main access areas to the institute.
The spatiality and amplitude of the interior corridors is given by the characteristic use of colour, with tiles that reflect the light filtered through the lattices, and by the implementation of glass as a dividing element in the upper areas of the classrooms, thus managing to enhance indirect lighting, preserving their privacy and independence.
